Hope mountain pass town

The old mountain pass town. was first founded when the merchants of the old world made their way over the mountains to trade. Its said that the merchants traveled with shamans, which used the old mountain pass town as a crossroads between the harsh mountain terrain and the lush valley. It started out as a resting place, a burial ground for people who did not make it over the mountain and a place that was considered good luck for travlers, a little plateau half way up the mountain where one could gather strength and pray before crossing the mountain. Its a very remote and little place far away from any other town.

The mountain Tibher is the highest mountain in all of the world and is legendary for its many tombs and burial sites that is said to be rich with treasure and ancient evil. Its a place that later has inspired many tales and myths of the world, and became a rich little town, known for its grand stone in the centre of town, where travelers would place a little token or gift for good luck, before leaving. 

The town has a chantery, a cast of merchants and farmers that don't care much for strangers or adventures, they are a people that take care of their own and celebrate winter solstice and mid summer night bonfires. The culture became a mix of travelers and merchants from different places of the world. most known for their chantery, which is a place where one is encouraged to rest and eat, and to get the maidens blessings, who is the mother goddess that gives birth to the sun over the mountain. 

She protects agains the witch which is said to be the embodiment of the mountains chaotic and destructive forces, which has been told for hundreds of years, to lead men astray from their path and sometimes to madness and death. The elder know very well that the sun maiden and the which are the same, but know that if you don't have a kindness and great courage in your heart, its dangerous to cross the pass.
